Hesston College women’s soccer coach Bryan Kehr announces Kenzie Johnson (Olathe, Kan.) and Abby Byler (Harrisonburg, Va.) as the newest members of the program.
Johnson and Byler, both current Hesston students enrolled in the school’s four-year BSN program, add to Kehr’s team coming off an impressive 15-6 mark in 2015.
Johnson, a member of the Larks’ women’s cross country team the past two years, has played club soccer for the Kansas City Fusion and has been practicing with Hesston Women’s Soccer this spring. Johnson brings an athletic presence to the field and a strong desire to compete. She is the daughter of Cindy and Todd Johnson, Olathe.
Byler was a member of the Virginia state champion Eastern Mennonite High School (Harrisonburg, Va.) girls soccer squad and will be a great addition to the Hesston program. Byler brings athleticism, technical skill and tactical knowledge to the field. She is the daughter of Kevin and Sandy Byler, Harrisonburg.
