The Barton Community College Wrestling team set a high standard this weekend for future Cougar wrestlers bringing home an individual All-American and a No. 15 team finish at the NJCAA Wrestling National Championships held in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Competing in its first season earning 36.5 points against the nation’s best, the Cougars had six wrestlers one win away from the All-American rounds with sophomore Will Bardezbain the lone survivor earning fifth place nationally and Barton’s first All-American honor.
