STERLING, KAN. – Former Warrior Jordy Hart (SR/Cedar Valley, UT) has signed a professional contract with the Grand Prairie Airhogs of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball League. Hart’s signing marks the second Warrior from the 2015 season to sign a professional contract.
Hart finished the 2015 season with a .381 batting average and hitting 16 doubles, seven triples, six homeruns, and 29 RBI’s. Hart was first on the team with 69 runs scored and first on the team in stolen bases with 28.
Based out of Grand Prairie, Texas, the Grand Prairie Airhogs are one of 13-teams in the Midwest that make up American Association of Professional Baseball league. Other teams in the American Association South Division include the Wichita Winguts, Joplin Blasters, Laredo Lemurs, and Amarillo Thunderheads.
