Brazilian young gun, and last season’s runner up in the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) World Championship race, Kaique Pacheco went a perfect 4-for-4 to win the Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) Bass Pro Chute Out, presented by Cooper Tires, Sunday afternoon at Scottrade Center.

Pacheco was the only athlete to ride all of his bulls in St. Louis and capped the performance with a masterful 88.75-point ride on Lester Gillis (Folds/Strickland) in the Built Ford Tough Championship Round. Pacheco became the first man to ride Lester Gillis on the BFTS and was the only rider to record a qualified ride in the championship round.

The win is Pacheco’s first BFTS event victory since September of last season when he won in Charlotte, North Carolina. Pacheco earned 640 world points and $44,500. He took over the No. 3 spot in the world standings, and trails current world leader Eduardo Aparecido by 580 points. Jess Lockwood, who is sidelined with an injury, sits in second place and trails Aparecido by 337.5 points.
