The Central Kansas Twisters, the newest members to the MABA Professional Basketball League, will be having 2 tryouts in the coming month, October 14th at Haven Middle School gym and on November 18th at Hesston College at the Yost Center. Practices are from 2:00-5:00 PM. According to team owner, Josh Lawton, this is a great opportunity to have local talent play at the next level. Anyone that has a love for the game and would like to put their talents to the test against other great players in this tough league should not miss this opportunity, says Lawton. The regular season runs from early April, through late June and is composed of teams primarily from the South Central part of the country but the league is constantly growing. The Twisters will play home games at the Yost Center on the campus of Hesston College. We want to be the home team for all of Central Kansas, and hope fans will come check out this high tempo style of pro basketball. All ages are encouraged to apply.
