The McPherson College men’s tennis program would like to announce their incoming recruits for the program this year.  The Bulldogs have signed Leandro Neix and Robert Burrows for the 2016 season.

Leandro, a native of Brazil, will be entering his first year at McPherson College this fall.   He comes to MC with a lot of experience and has played and represented his city well while competing in Brazil.

“Leandro has a lot of upside as he has a lot of different ways he can play tennis which is nice to see,” said head McPherson Coach Justin Stuckey.  “He has the weapons to play aggressive tennis and also has the weapons to play long tennis points; this will help him a lot since we have so many different types of college tennis players.  We are very excited about having Leandro be a part of the tennis program for the next four years!”
Robert will be entering his first year at McPherson College and hails from England where he has been a competitive tennis player for several years.

“Robert is a very talented, hardworking tennis player and I feel he has his best tennis ahead of him,” said Coach Stuckey.  “He is very focused on doing well in the classroom and on the tennis court.  Robert is very athletic and quick around the court and it was very apparent while recruiting him that he works hard for every point.  Robert is really going to help our Men’s program and I am really looking forward to working with him over the next four years.”
