Lucas Schauer a former Maize High School standout has been named to Academic All-District team. Schauer, a junior Pitcher for the Newman University Jet’s leads the Jets with an 8-2 record, eight complete games and two shutouts over 82 innings this season and has posted a 3.95 cumulative GPA. He is also scheduled to graduate with his degree in mathematics after only three years of college.
