Wichita State volleyball student-athlete Katie Reilly has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 26-Nov. 1.
Reilly, a senior middle blocker from Cypress, Texas, led the Shockers to a road win at Missouri State on Saturday. She averaged 4.33 kills, 0.33 aces, 2.67 digs and 4.67 points per set, while hitting .346.
In the three-set win, she had a match-high 13 kills on 26 swings and hit .346. She also added an assist, a service ace and eight digs.
With the win, the Shockers improved to 10-1 in Missouri Valley Conference play and 6-0 in Valley road matches.
It is the first MVC Player of the Week honor of her career.
