Former Butler County player Zach Mettenberger has been claimed off of waivers by the San Diego Chargers.
Mettenberger is a 6-5, 224-pound QB was recently waived by the Tennessee Titan despite completing 208 of 345 attempts (60.3%) for 2,347 yards, 12 touchdowns and 14 interceptions in 14 games with 10 starts over his first two seasons.
