“Oreona is a really strong, talented athletic guard,” said Barton Assistant Coach Alan Clark. “We are extremely pleased she has chosen Barton to continue her career. She will have an immediate impact on the Jayhawk Conference.”
Bryson, a 5’4″ point guard, led Ridgeway with her ability to get the ball to her teammates in positions where they could score.
“Alexus will gives us great poise and ball control at the point,” commented Clark. “She is extremely intense and competitive and will set a defensive tone for us.”
Another Pepsi Best of the Preps athlete, the 6’2″ power forward Stevenson also earned district honors being named to the All-District 15AA team with her ability to run the floor, as well as, be a force inside and on the glass.
