Barton Community College volleyball program is offering skill clinics

The Barton Community College volleyball program is offering skill clinics for middle school age players on Saturday, April 16, and Saturday, April 23.  Introducing a solid foundation of the fundamental skills of the game, the clinic is recommended for players wanting to learn the sport and continue development of skills.  The clinic will run from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. consisting of multiple drills and games to develop individual skill proficiency and confidence.  Attendance at either of the two clinics or both is welcome for $50 per participant each clinic date.  To register and receive a Barton Volleyball Clinic t-shirt, contact Coach Brandon Stephenson at (620) 792-9374, email [email protected] or online at www.BartonSports.com.

The Cougar Volleyball program will also be offering a middle school and high school camp, as well as, a high school volleyball tournament during the summer.  Registration and cost information provided online at www.BartonSports.com.

Camp information

Middle School Camp – June 19-22

An exciting, fast paced, four day camp for girls focusing on the FUNdamental skills required for volleyball success.  Lots of drills, games, contests, and prizes in a fun, cooperative and success-oriented atmosphere. Perfect for girls who want to shake off the rust from their break away from volleyball.  Early registration savings if received by May 15, commuter or overnight rates available, and each camper will receive a Barton Volleyball Camp t-shirt.

High School Camp – July 27-30

A challenging four day volleyball training experience for players who are ready to compete at the high school level.  The development of solid technical and tactical skills will be emphasized. Games, contests and prizes in a fun, competitive atmosphere. Early registration savings if received by June 6, commuter or overnight rates available, and each camper will receive a Barton Volleyball Camp t-shirt.

High School Tournament information

Date:  June 18
Format:  Round robin pool play followed by single elimination bracket play
Cost:  $100 per team
