Blueberry-Cream Cheese Rolls is an easy and quick recipe for a delicious breakfast, dessert or snack. Made with blueberries and cream cheese folded into crescent rolls and baked in the oven. Total time from start to finish is only (23) minutes. This is also a very flexible recipe in that any kind of fruit could be used in place of the blueberries. Blueberry-Cream Cheese Rolls will be loved by your entire family and all your friends.
INGREDIENTS:
1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1 (4 oz) bar or (1/2 of 8 oz bar) Neufchatel cheese, softened
2 Tbsp sugar
1/2 cup blueberries, divided
1 tsp Powdered Sugar, (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 375ºF.
- Unroll dough into four rectangles; firmly press perforations together to seal.
- Combine Neufchatel and sugar; spread onto dough rectangles to within 1/2 inch of edges. Top evenly with blueberries. Bring opposite corners of rectangles together; press together to seal. Place on ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake 11 to 13 minutes or until golden brown.
(Optional: If desired; sprinkle with 1 tsp. sifted powdered sugar just before serving).
YIELD: 4 Servings.
