Due to the impact of COVID-19, Barbara Lilyhorn, Reno County Public Transportation Director has announced that effective at 7 a.m. Tuesday, January 19, Rcat will operate the Saturday route schedule with 3 buses running daily until further notice.
Rcat will operate three Fixed routes on the following schedule: 1 North 8 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 Noon & 2 p.m. will be the final route of the day, 1 South 7 a.m., 9 a.m., 11 a.m. & 3 p.m. will be the final route of the day, 2 East will operate at 7a.m., 9 a.m., 11a.m., 1 p.m., & 3 p.m. will be the final route, 2 Northwest will operate at 8 am., 10 a.m., Noon, & 2 p.m. will be the final route of the day. Route 3 will operate hourly.
Rcat Fixed Routes will run from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday. Passengers displaced from their regular route pickup time may call 620-694-2913 for assistance.
Paratransit will operate from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday.
County On- Demand will operate from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
All vehicles will observe social distancing for seating passengers and perform additional disinfection and cleaning practices.
Passengers are asked to observe good hygiene with frequent handwashing and responsible respiratory etiquette such as coughing and sneezing into their elbow bend and limiting physical contact with drivers and other passengers.
