Reno County Public Transportation change in service schedule.
Barbara Lilyhorn, Reno County Public Transportation Director has announced that effective at 7 a.m. on February 15, 2021, Rcat will return to regular hours and routes. Fixed Routes will operate from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
Rcat will operate four Fixed routes on the following schedule: 1 North hourly, 1 South hourly, 2 East will operate at 7a.m., 9 a.m., 11a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m.,5 p.m., 2 Northwest will operate at 8 am., 10 a.m., Noon, 2 p.m. 4 p.m. Route 3 will operate hourly.
Paratransit will operate from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday. Rural On-Demand will operate from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
All vehicles will observe social distancing for seating passengers and perform additional disinfection and cleaning practices. Passengers must wear a mask unless they are exempt by Federal Law. Passengers are asked to observe good hygiene with frequent handwashing and responsible respiratory etiquette such as coughing and sneezing into their elbow bend and limiting physical contact with drivers and other passengers.
