Mountain lions keep wandering into Missouri and sometimes Kansas

Researchers are now saying, mountain lions are recolonizing in the Midwest. In the last decade, Missouri and Kansas have had an increase in confirmed sightings. In May, a mountain lion was euthanized by Missouri troops after the lion had been struck on the highway. While mountain lions are recolonizing they don’t appear to be reproducing in either Kansas or Missouri. Even though the mountain lion’s comeback is considered a success among conservationists, there is still a concern due to the fact that they are predators.
