Hefner: July 14. Elevation above normal, water 80-84 and murky. Largemouth bass slow on jigs and plastic baits at 4-12 ft. along shorelines. White bass and striped bass hybrids fair on lipless baits, minnows and gay blades at 6-12 ft. around docks and shorelines. Channel and blue catfish fair on punch bait, dough bait and cut bait at 10-20 ft. along riprap and points. Crappie slow on minnows and jigs around docks and riprap. Overholser: July 13. Elevation above normal, water murky to muddy. White bass and striped bass hybrids slow to fair on minnows and jigs along creek channels. Birch: July 13. Elevation 10 ft. above normal, water 80s. The Corps of Engineers boat ramp on the north side of the lake is closed but the south side is open at this time. Texoma: July 12. Elevation 21 ft. above normal, water 78 and murky to muddy. There is still very little access to fishing areas on the lake and boat ramps. Check before going into these areas to launch your boats. If there is a traffic barrier do not drive around it. Largemouth and smallmouth bass fair on plastic baits, crankbaits and spinnerbaits at 5-15 ft. along creek channels and shorelines where the water is starting to clear in the upper ends of the creeks. Striped and white bass good on cut bait, sassy shad and live shad at 10-20 ft. below the dam, along the river channel and coves. Channel and blue catfish good on live bait, stinkbait and worms at 10-20 ft. below the dam and upper Washita and Red rivers. Crappie and sunfish slow on minnows, tube jigs and small lures at 5-20 ft. around brush structure, creek channels where the water is starting to clear in the upper creeks and docks.
