CENTRAL

 

Arcadia: July 13. Elevation 1 1/2 ft. above normal, water 84 and murky. Largemouth bass fair on Carolina rigs at 6-10 ft. along submerged humps and road beds. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 11-14 ft. on marked brush piles and the fishing docks. Channel and blue catfish fair on shad and crawdads around rocky points. White bass good on slabs at 12-15 ft. on submerged humps and on white grubs and blade baits while surfacing early in the morning. Draper: July 12. Elevation above normal, water 77 and murky. Largemouth bass good on plastic baits and tube jigs around rocks, points and weed beds. Channel and blue catfish good on cut bait and stinkbait around brush structure, rocks and riprap. Crappie slow on minnows and jigs around docks, standing timber and brush structure. Hefner: July 14. Elevation above normal, water 80-84 and murky. Largemouth bass slow on jigs and plastic baits at 4-12 ft. along shorelines. White bass and striped bass hybrids fair on lipless baits, minnows and gay blades at 6-12 ft. around docks and shorelines. Channel and blue catfish fair on punch bait, dough bait and cut bait at 10-20 ft. along riprap and points. Crappie slow on minnows and jigs around docks and riprap. Overholser: July 13. Elevation above normal, water murky to muddy. White bass and striped bass hybrids slow to fair on minnows and jigs along creek channels. Channel and blue catfish slow to fair on chicken liver, cut bait and shrimp along shorelines and the discharge. All other fishing slow. Thunderbird: July 12. Elevation above normal, water 77 and murky. Largemouth bass and Saugeye good on plastic baits and crankbaits around rocks, points and weed beds. Channel and blue catfish good on cut bait and stinkbait along riprap, rocks and brush structure. Crappie slow on minnows and jigs around docks, standing timber and brush structure. Wes Watkins: July 13. Elevation normal, water clear. White bass fair on sassy shad, spoons and in-line spinnerbaits surfacing in the main lake early morning. Channel and blue catfish fair on chicken liver and worms along riprap. Crappie fair on minnows along standing timber in mornings. Bell Cow: July 13. Elevation normal, water 85 and muddy. Channel catfish fair on worms and stinkbait around docks and shorelines. Crappie slow on minnows around docks. Report submitted by Gary Emmons, game warden stationed in Lincoln County.
Birch: July 13. Elevation 10 ft. above normal, water 80s. The Corps of Engineers boat ramp on the north side of the lake is closed but the south side is open at this time. Channel and blue catfish slow on worms and cut bait at 6-8 ft. along shorelines. Report submitted by Cody Plunkett, game warden stationed in Osage County.

 

Carl Blackwell: July 13. Elevation normal, water 90 and murky. White bass fair on jigs in purple and pink at 3 ft. along the bridge on the main road. Saugeye fair on white crankbaits at 8-10 ft. along sandbars. Crappie fair on minnows around the crappie dock. Report submitted by Emily Long, game warden stationed in Payne County.

 

Chandler: July 13. Elevation normal, water 85 and murky. Crappie slow on minnows around docks and boat ramp. Channel catfish fair on chicken liver, minnows and sunfish around docks and shorelines. Report submitted by Gary Emmons, game warden stationed in Lincoln County.

 

Copan: July 13. Elevation dropping, water 70 and clearing. Channel, blue and flathead catfish fair on live bait, shad and worms at 7-9 ft. below the dam and tailwater. Report submitted by Joe Alexander, game warden stationed in Washington County.
Eucha: July 13. Elevation normal, water 85. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits and spinnerbaits around points and the main lake. Channel catfish fair on cut bait and shad along flats and shallows. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs around brush structure and docks. Sunfish good on crickets and worms along weed beds, shallows and rocks. Fort Gibson: July 14. Elevation rising, water 82 and stained. Blue, channel and flathead catfish fair on live shad and cut bait in the main lake, river channel and below the dam. White bass fair on live shad at 1 ft. off bottom in the main lake, around points and the river channel. Largemouth bass good on plastic baits, topwater lures and Pop-R’s around shallows early. Crappie fair on minnows and tube jigs at 10-12 ft. around brush structure and docks. Report submitted by Rick Stafford of Wagoner.
Grand: July 13. Elevation above normal, water 80 and murky. Crappie slow on minnows and tube jigs at 1-10 ft. around brush structure. White bass fair on spoons, Fle Fly minnows and rooster tails along creek channels, Elk River, Honey Creek and Horse Creek. Blue, channel and flathead catfish fair on shad at 30 ft. in the main lake. Hudson: July 12. Elevation 10 1/2 ft. above normal, water 80. Blue and channel catfish good on cut bait, shad and worms at 6-14 ft. below the dam, tailwater and river channel. Largemouth bass good on buzz baits, spinnerbaits, plastic baits and topwater lures at 4-12 ft. around brush structure, standing timber and points. Lower Illinois: July 12. Elevation normal, water 65 and dingy. Running two units out of the generator nearly nonstop so fishing is difficult. Trout slow on worms, in-line spinnerbaits and PowerBait in the tailwater and rocks. Report submitted by Jeremy Bersche, game warden stationed in Sequoyah County.
McMurtry: July 13. Elevation normal, water 79 and semi-murky. Saugeye fair on minnows and crankbaits at 6-14 ft. along channels and docks. Crappie good on minnows and jigs at 8-12 ft. around brush structure, points and docks. Report submitted by Jared Avilez.
Oologah: July 12. Elevation 10 ft. above normal and rising slowly, water 80 and murky. Blue and channel catfish fair on juglines baited with cut bait and shad at 15-25 ft. along flats. Report submitted by Brek Henry, game warden stationed in Rogers County.

Spavinaw: July 13. Elevation normal, water 87. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits and spinnerbaits along coves and points. Channel catfish fair on cut bait and shad along flats and shallows. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs around brush structure, riprap and docks. Sunfish good on crickets and worms along weed beds and shorelines. Walleye fair on crankbaits along flats and the main lake. Tenkiller: July 13. Elevation 17 ft. above normal, water stained. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass fair on jigs, plastic baits and crankbaits at 10-20 ft. around brush structure, the main lake, points and mouths of coves. Channel catfish fair on punch bait, shrimp and worms at 20-25 ft. in the main lake and around points. Bluegill and sunfish fair on worms and tube jigs at 10-20 ft. around docks. Webbers Falls: July 13. Elevation above normal, water murky. Largemouth bass fair on plastic baits and spinnerbaits around brush structure. Canton: July 11. Elevation below normal, water 86 and clear. Channel catfish good on worms and shad at 10-18 ft. in the main lake. White bass and striped bass hybrids fair on slabs, shad and crankbaits at 8-14 ft. in the main lake. Report submitted by Mark Walker, game warden stationed in Blaine County.

 

Fort Supply: July 14. Elevation normal, water murky. Channel catfish slow on minnows in the main lake. All other fishing slow. Report submitted by Mark Reichenberger, game warden stationed in Woodward County.

 

SOUTHEAST
Arbuckle: July 11. Elevation 12 1/2 ft. above normal, water 73 and very stained. All launch ramps are closed due to high waters. Carp good on dough bait, hotdogs and slabs in coves, the main lake and docks. Report submitted by Jack Melton.
Eufaula: July 12. Elevation 10 1/2 ft. above normal. Largemouth bass fair on plastic baits and spinnerbaits along flooded brush. White bass good on small jigs under bridges with current. Blue catfish good on a variety of lures around rocky areas. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs around bridges and culverts with current. Konawa: July 13. Elevation normal, water 83 and clear. Largemouth bass fair on jerk baits, plastic baits and flukes at 6-8 ft. around points, coves and shallows. White bass fair on crankbaits, tube jigs, sassy shad and live shad at 8-10 ft. along riprap, points and creek channels. Lower Mountain Fork: July 12. Elevation above normal, water turbid. Trout good on PowerBait and worms below the dam, along the spillway and rocks. McGee Creek: July 12. Elevation 15 1/2 ft. above normal, water 81 and clear. Largemouth and spotted bass fair on crankbaits and plastic baits at 6-10 ft. along weed beds and shorelines. Crappie fair on minnows at 18-24 ft. around standing timber and brush structure. Report submitted by Mark Hannah, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.
Murray: July 13. Elevation normal, water 76 and clear. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass good on Alabama rigs, plastic baits and tube jigs at 4-20 ft. around rocks, weed beds and points. Channel catfish good on crawfish, punch bait, worms and shrimp at 4-10 ft. along rocks, riprap and standing timber. Sunfish good on minnows, jigs, worms and small lures at 2-8 ft. along sand bars, weed beds and shallows. White bass fair on minnows, jigs, crankbaits and sassy shad from the surface to 20 ft. in the main lake, points and creek channels. Pine Creek: July 12. Elevation above normal, water murky. Largemouth bass good on plastic baits around points and coves. Crappie fair on minnows around brush structure. Robert S. Kerr: July 12. Elevation 2 1/2 ft. above normal, water murky. Largemouth bass good on plastic baits and topwater lures at 2-5 ft. along weed beds and the main lake. Channel and blue catfish excellent on punch bait and worms at 2-4 ft. along creek channels. Flathead and blue catfish good on juglines baited with shad at 6-10 ft. in the main lake and good noodling. Crappie good on minnows and small lures at 4-6 ft. around brush structure at night. Report submitted by J.D. Stauffer, game warden stationed in Haskell County. 

Sardis: July 12. Water 84 and clear to murky. Largemouth and spotted bass fair to good on swim baits, spinnerbaits and buzz baits around timber points and grass early and late. Channel and blue catfish good on juglines and trotlines baited with cut bait at 4-6 ft. Flathead catfish fair on live bait along creek channels and off points. Crappie fair to good at 4-10 ft. around brush and standing timber. Walleye fair on crankbaits, jigs and worms at 6-10 ft. Texoma: July 12. Elevation 21 ft. above normal, water 78 and murky to muddy. There is still very little access to fishing areas on the lake and boat ramps. Check before going into these areas to launch your boats. If there is a traffic barrier do not drive around it. Largemouth and smallmouth bass fair on plastic baits, crankbaits and spinnerbaits at 5-15 ft. along creek channels and shorelines where the water is starting to clear in the upper ends of the creeks. Striped and white bass good on cut bait, sassy shad and live shad at 10-20 ft. below the dam, along the river channel and coves. Channel and blue catfish good on live bait, stinkbait and worms at 10-20 ft. below the dam and upper Washita and Red rivers. Crappie and sunfish slow on minnows, tube jigs and small lures at 5-20 ft. around brush structure, creek channels where the water is starting to clear in the upper creeks and docks. Wister: July 12. Elevation 8 1/2 ft. above normal, water 83 and murky. Largemouth bass good on buzz bait, topwater lures and spinnerbaits at 2-8 ft. around brush structure and points. Crappie good on minnows and jigs at 8-12 ft. around brush structure and standing timber. Flathead catfish good on live bait at 4-12 ft. in the main lake. Foss: July 14. Elevation 5 1/2 ft. below normal with gates closed, water low 80s and clear. Striped bass hybrids slow on live bait. Walleye slow on live bait. Catfish fair on trotlines baited with stinkbait. Crappie slow around docks. Report submitted by Eric Puyear, B&K Bait House.
