Walk Kansas March 15—May 9

Walk Kansas, an 8-week challenge that promotes physical activity and consumption of healthful fruits and vegetables, runs through May 9. Teams of six participants join others in their neighborhoods and across the state in setting achievable measurements toward their own fitness goals, recording activity and foods daily. Friendly competition is encouraged, as teams can track their progress — and that of others — on an interactive state map.
