Maj. Gen. Wayne Grigsby Jr. has been given command of the 1st Infantry Division. Grigsby has 31 years of military service; his most recent assignment was commander of the Combined Joint Task Force based in East Africa. The passing of command ceremony was yesterday at Fort Riley.
