Annual Miracle Treat Day celebrated at Dairy Queen

A summer blizzard is forecast for Kansas — one that will help local kids in need. On Thursday, July 27, Dairy Queen will host its annual “Miracle Treat Day” to benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at Via Christi Health.

During Miracle Treat day, participating Dairy Queen stores will donate $1 or more from every Blizzard sold to customers throughout Wichita and CMN Hospitals’ 64-county region.

CMN Hospitals at Via Christi Health experienced nearly 150,000 pediatric visits in 2015 from children in more than 64 counties throughout south-central and western Kansas. CMN Hospitals provides direct medical assistance to cover needs not covered by insurance to children regardless of their illness, injury or financial status. Examples of service include assisting with medical equipment, travel assistance, lodging, therapies, and more.

It’s simple to enjoy a Dairy Queen Blizzard on Miracle Treat Day. All you have to do is head down to your local Dairy Queen store and pick up your favorite flavor.
