UPCOMING RESTAURANT FACILITY AUCTION PROCEEDS WILL GO BACK TO THE WICHITA COMMUNITY
Wichita, KS – McCurdy Real Estate & Auction is excited to announce that the proceeds from the upcoming auction of 3425 S. Kansas Ave., Topeka, KS will be benefiting the Wichita Community Foundation and its endeavors.
This is a chance to not only purchase a turn-key restaurant facility but also help a great cause. The property was recently gifted to the Wichita Community Foundation, and all of the proceeds will be poured back into the Wichita community to help local organizations and non-profits. The turn-key restaurant facility auction at the former Topeka location of Carlos O’Kelly’s is set for absolute, online-only auction on February 24.
“Our foundation is moved to be the stewards of the auction proceeds,” Shelly Prichard, President and CEO of Wichita Community Foundation said. “Gifts of real estate are powerful giving assets that unlock unique charitable opportunities that can support local causes.”
The auction will include the 8,560 sq. ft. restaurant space featuring a paved parking lot with 70+ spots, large kitchen with prep area and dishwashing room, walk-in refrigerator, four restrooms, private office, and more.
The auction will be absolute, with no minimum or reserve, conducted online only at McCurdy.com. Bidding will open at 2 PM on February 8, and the auction will close at 2 PM on February 24.
This property donation will go towards long-term initiatives and pressing needs in Wichita. “It’s a joy to work with donors in their philanthropic journey to fulfill their charitable goals and enhance our community,” remarks Prichard.
