Wichita State University alumnus Armand Fruge recently published a children’s book focusing on the pursuit of dreams, even the forgotten ones.

“I have always been a dreamer,” Fruge says. “I want to inspire more people to pursue their dreams and have a career that makes them happy.”
“The Dream Collector” is a short story for K-5 readers, encouraging children to think beyond the moment and pursue their dreams, despite obstacles that appear along the way. The book is illustrated by Sergio Valadez-Flores.
Fruge graduated from WSU in 2011 with a degree in English language and literature and continues to work toward his own dream of being a full-time author.
The book is available on Amazon for $12.99 and should be released in bookstores later this year.
