A group of St. John High School graduates have received Scholarships

The following St. John High School graduates have received Scholarships from Fort Hays University: Schuyler Brown, School graduate and an FHSU junior, accepted a $500 Elizabeth Hibbs-Singleton Scholarship. Schuyler son of Brian and Kristene Brown, St. John, is majoring in health and human performance.  Brandi Hanson, accepted a $3,500 Presidential Award of Distinction and a $900 Academic Opportunity Award in political science. Brandi is the daughter of Troy and Angela Hanson, St. John, plans to major in political science. Allen Schwein, accepted a $1,000 Traditions Scholar Award, a $1,000 FHSU Achievement Award and a $900 Academic Opportunity Award in justice studies. Allen is the son of Mike and Regina Schwein, St. John, plans to major in criminal justice. Nathan Ward, a 2016 St. John High School graduate, accepted a $2,000 University Scholar Award and a $900 Academic Opportunity Award in allied health. Nathan is the son of Brett and Kathleen Ward, St. John, plans to major in radiology.
