The Pratt High School wrestling team competed in the Goodwill Tournament this past weekend. The tournament was full of the top wrestling teams in the State with Wichita South, Andover Central, and Pratt all boasting top ten rankings in their classes.
The Greenbacks finished with four finalists on the day: Justin Lamatsch, Logan Baird, Nick Lucas, and Dalton Prosser, with Baird and Lucas both bringing home championships. Dylan Pelland and Brayan Balderrama both ended the day with third place finishes, and Seth Simmons finished in fourth. The team finished in second place overall.
The Greenbacks will see their next action in a double dual on Thursday in Hays and a tournament Saturday in Abilene where they will have the #1, #5(Pratt) and #8 teams in 4A competing along with the #’s 3 and 5 in 3A to end the 1st half of our season.
