Nickerson Elementary 6th grade classes attended Dr. Beck Weathers’ presentation at the Dillon Lecture Series. Dr. Weathers was one of several climbers caught in a blizzard on Mount Everest. He explained to the students how he survived, losing several appendages to frostbite. The movie Everest was based on this ordeal.
