Middle School Teacher presented with Presidential Award of Excellence in Mathematics and Science

USD 309 announced that Middle School Teacher Mrs. McCabe, has been awarded the Presidential Award of Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST). She received the award because of her commitment to education, the innovative practices she uses in her class room and her ability to teach students to learn math. Mrs. McCabe will accept her award in September at a ceremony in Washington D.C. The PAEMST is the nation’s highest honor for math and science teachers.
