The Taste of Newton on October 8, serves as a kick-off event for the 45th annual Bethel College Fall Festival weekend. This Downtown event is advertised as the largest food festival south of Chicago. Visitors find vendors offering a variety of food including roasted corn, barbecue, Mexican, baked goods, dumplings, Verenike, smoked chicken, pretzels and more. Dancers, cheerleaders and musicians will provide entertainment at the festival. Admission is free but cash is need for food and goods.
