Last week at the Mulvane Art Museum, children, ages 4 through 6, explored the many ways that pictures tell stories. In one project, the Storybook art class created a group mural inspired by the book, “Rainbow Fish,” by Marcus Pfister. As part of the project, the class learned about art, stories and sharing. As a result, the children chose to leave their mural on display in the hallway of the museum’s lower level to encourage others to make art and friends.
