Steve Piper, who owns Piper’s Fine Foods with his wife Marry, celebrated 60 years of being Marquette’s “Main Street”. Steve started working with family at Eldon’s IGA at the age 14, then went on to work with his family in the in the grocery, hardware, clothing, gift shop and restaurant businesses. On Friday, October 28 Piper’s Fine Foods celebrated Steve’s 60 years on “Main Street” in addition introducing the new brand to the store – Best Choice. Piper’s Fine Foods recently became members of the nation’s largest grocery cooperative warehouse AWG and are excited to bring new items to the store.
