The City Council recently installed six L.E.D. stop sings at high-incident intersections where accidents occur. The signs have eight L.E.D. lights on the vertices of the stop sign and are ran from a battery pack that is solar powered. The flashing red lights work all day alerting drivers at intersections. The L.E.D stop signs are located at the intersections of 45th N. St. & Tyler, 45th St. N. &119th St. W. and 37th St. N. & 119th St. W. The cost to the city was $1600.
