The University of Kansas Alumni Association and the KU Endowment honored eight Smoky Valley Students for their academic achievements and named as Kansas Honor Scholars. Students earning this status are: Meredith Galloway, Shelby Hanson, Tanya Hus, Katheryn Peterson, Hayley Peterson, Myriah Webster, Logan Windholz and Seth Yenni.
