The Kansas Livestock Association has awarded $2,500 to Gregg Stewart for information he gathered and gave to law enforcement that lead to the arrest of a cattle rustler. The cattle were owned by the Mid Continent Farms. The Kansas Livestock Association has offered the reward for many years, seeking information that leads to the arrest and conviction of livestock. Offering an award encourages those with information to come forward and help solve cases. Stewart is donating part of reward to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s office for its help in the case and part to the Lincoln Coaunty Fire Department for helping local ranchers with the prescribed burning season.
