The Kingman Garden Club will be hosting the 8th Annual Garden Tour throughout the weekend of September 26 and 27th. The tour features homes both in the city of Kingman and also along the outskirts of town.

Features of this year’s tour include trees such as Ponderosa Pines, Bald Cypress, Burr Oaks and Maples. One stop gives you a chance to see hummingbirds as they visit a Red Honeysuckle shrub and just outside of Kingman you’ll find a garden that draws in honey bees, as the owners also raise honey bees and collect the honey. You’ll see gardeners use their green thumb to work around yard challenges and get tips from them on topics such as planting productive gardening beds in town. In total, there are five stops on this year’s line-up.

On Saturday, September 26th, the tour runs from 8 a.m. until Noon. On Sunday, September 27th, you may visit gardens from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Sale of tickets to the tour help fund the Garden Club’s beautification projects around the community.
