Jacob Smucker wins top video production award

Newton:  (04/22/2015)(readMedia)– Jacob Smucker, a senior Communication major from Newton, KS, was awarded second place in the instructional/educational video category at the annual Broadcast Education Association (BEA) Media Arts Festival. Jake and classmate Chau Bui won the award with their four-part series called “Goshen’s Urban Forest,” which was created for the Goshen Parks Department this year. Jacob attends Shalom Mennonite Church.
