The 23-year-old man shot by Hutchinson Police Aug. 5 made his first court appearance last week. Joseph Roman, who was shot in the hand after allegedly pointing a shotgun at them, faces 15 counts of aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer and one count of aggravated assault.
