The Kansas Cosmosphere will be offering a shortened version of the Forces of Flight Camp for students in fifth through seventh grades on September 24-25. Students will design and build their own model planes and hear from a pilot who is in the Society of Engineering Test Piolets. Students will also have the chance to ride in a full-scale glider that is two-men, engine-less, aerodynamic aircraft that will soar and rise in the air. For more information, please contact Chuck McClary at 620.665.9356 or email [email protected]. To enroll, please contact Laurie Givan at 620.665.9323 or email [email protected].
