Halstead’s powerlifting team placed 1st at the 3/15 meet in Conway Springs. team members include Dominique Thibault, Courtney Grider, Elsie Warner, Cailleen Walters, Kodie Casey, Kirsten Mueller, Isabelle Robuck, Kinsey Davidson, Jena Black.
5 teammembers placed took home 1st place honors and set HHS records.
Dominique Thibault (123) – 3rd overall and 1st on bench, broke the HHS bench record and tied the squat record in her wt class.
Kodie Casey (156) – 1st overall and 1st in bench and clean, tied the meet bench record and broke the HHS bench and clean records for her wt class
Kirsten Mueller (165) – 1st in squat and clean and 1st overall, broke HHS records in squat and clean in her wt class.
Isabelle Robuck (165) – 1st in bench & 2nd overall, broke the HHS bench record in her wt class
Jena Black (PWT ) – 1st in clean & 1st overall, tied the meet record in the clean and broke the overall school records in the bench, squat & clean. She was the lifter of the meet.
