A new gun range with 56 shooting stations is being built by the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism near El Dorado Lake. Park manager Seth Turner said the range is being built in response to illegal shooting problems at the lake. However, some residents with nearby homes are concerned they’ll lose the peace and serenity that drew them to the area.
