El Dorado Police and the Butler County Jail confirm that an arrest has been made in a stabbing of an El Dorado man. Dustin Brummett was booked into jail at 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning on a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. The man stabbed in the incident has been released from a Wichita hospital, police say. Lt. John Stewart of the El Dorado Police Department says officers were dispatched to a hospital in El Dorado. The man was later transported to a Wichita hospital. Stewart says the man witnessed an argument between a man and woman across the street from his house and when he went to intervene, he was stabbed several times. The stabbing took place in the 400 block of West Fourth Ave.
