Winners of this year’s VFW Patriot Pen contest, “What Freedom Means to Me”, were Shannon Anderson, first place; Nicole Blocker, second place; and Yasmeena Grindle, third place. The three students from Chapman Middle School each received a certificate, a medal and a cash award.
