Sedgwick County working to curb agricultural theft

The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office is offering a program to help spread information about stolen farm and construction equipment. The program, called Agriculture Livestock Information Network,also is aimed at spreading the word about suspicious activity around farms and businesses across Sedgwick County and surrounding counties. Agricultural producers, farmers cooperatives, implement dealers and construction businesses can register by calling the sheriff’s community policing unit at (316) 522-2610 or by e-mailing to [email protected], attention Deputy Travis Clinesmith. Those who are registered will receive e-mails.
