The Dickinson County Highland School District #8 held a reunion on October 22 at the Hitching Post, Old Abilene Town. The Highland School was a one room school with grades one through eight taught by one teacher. Those attending looked at old photos and exchanged stories and memories. The next reunion is planned for the fall of 2018.
