A fun horse show is scheduled Sunday morning, Oct. 23, at 10 o’clock in Cico Park at Manhattan.
Sponsored by the Blackjack Saddle Club, competition is open to everyone and will include themed game races and a costume contest, according to Justine Staten, club president.
Highlight of the day will be a consignment sale, with all persons welcome to consign or purchase horse equipment and horse related items. There will be a 15 percent sale commission going to the club scholarship fund.
It was also announced that the Blackjack Saddle Club yearend banquet is planned Saturday, Dec. 17, 11 o’clock, at the Colonial Gardens Clubhouse, Manhattan.
