“YOU CAN RULE IGNORANCE; YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT

WHEN A PEOPLE ARE UNEDUCATED, SO THAT GOES IN LINE WITH

CORRUPT BUSINESS AND CORRUPT POLITICS.”

will.i.am

I ask the question once again. What if you threw a party and no one came? The ‘Green’ forces in academia, government, and business have been guilty of dictating what the American people want. This with little or no impute from the people. You know, the people who work, pay taxes, and try to have a better life for themselves and their kids. With admittedly tainted or just plain false statistics, it has been mandated that fossil fuel driven cars and trucks have to become ‘energy efficient’ electric powered.

Advertising is now being run for the new electric models. But most are not available yet. Seems that those who produce the components cannot fill orders yet. In fact the rare earth minerals that is required to build batteries is 95% from China. Now electric companies are closing down conventional power plants to meet new guidelines. Rolling black outs are discussed more and more but generation plants are not being built.

The infrastructure for all electric vehicles are not common anywhere yet. Do you know of any plans to build charging stations anywhere? What about cost? A new gasoline powered Chevy Suburban and many pickups are priced from 50K to over 100K. The new electric models are higher. In ten minutes you can put enough fuel in a conventional vehicle to drive 4 to 6 hundred miles down the road. The electrics can get you enough in one hour to go 40 miles. Maybe the interstates can reopen all of those abandoned Stucky’s travel stops as charging stations. That way you can polish off a pecan log at every third exit.

Forget driving in winter. Batteries are not efficient when blizzards hit. Or driving through Death Valley in July. Or Kansas for that matter.

One of the ‘green’ companies in California went to all electric trucks. You can now buy 100 for a real bargain price. But you say “COME ON MAN” follow the science. Well ‘man’ the science isn’t there yet. Try as hard as you can but if the public does not buy your electric vehicles you are going to be the industry wanting taxpayer buyouts.

I read that the first electric fire engine was delivered a couple weeks ago. When that engine runs out of power do you think that they are going to get a real long extension cord? Or are they going to call in a diesel powered engine to do the job. Maybe you will see little S-10 or Ranger pickups pulling a diesel generator around to keep the electric engine running or recharge it.

Lets see that combine with the fifty foot headers cutting on battery power.

What do you do with all those batteries when they wear out? Or maybe you should just let the consumer vote with their dollars?
