Bulldog Men win Tabor College Invitational

Running on the course where the 2015 KCAC Cross Country Championships are set for November 7th, the McPherson College men’s team took the meet with four top-10 finishes and seven top-20.  The women’s squad had a pair in the top-15 and finished the fifth.

Dixon Cooney ran a 27:58.58 to finish second, leading the charge for MC.  Michael Janzer was the next athlete to cross with his 28:08.68.  Felix Cervantes posted a 28:31.83 and was followed by Jerod Fuller at 28:39.69.  The final scoring Bulldog was Jesse Freeman at 28:42.10.

For the women, Laura Gibson posted a 19:55.50 and was followed by Miranda Clark Ulrich at 20:57.82.  Taylor Dreiling crossed the finish at 21:49.94 and nearly 30 seconds later and Savana Cross came in at 22:17.14.  Lauren Wankum finished at 22:48.26.

On October 10th, homecoming for MC, the teams will travel to Hays, Kansas for the Fort Hays State University Invite.
