Arcadia: May 11. Elevation 7 1/2 ft. above normal, water muddy. Crappie good on minnows and jigs at 3-7 ft. along riprap and fishing docks. Bass good on swim baits and wacky rigged worms at 3-8 ft. along points, coves and submerged humps. Channel and blue catfish fair on punch bait and cut shad near rocky points and along the dam. Draper: May 10. Elevation above normal, water 63 and murky. Channel and blue catfish fair on punch bait and cut bait at the inlet and rocks. Report submitted by Chad Strang, game warden stationed in Cleveland County.
Hefner: May 11. Elevation rising, water 63-67 and muddy. White bass good on grubs, sassy shad, PowerBait and gay blades at 3-10 ft. along the inlet and windy points, best a little ways past the fast water. Crappie good on minnows and jigs at 8-15 ft. along riprap and the dam. Channel and blue catfish good on cut bait, punch bait and live bait at 6-10 ft. at the inlet. Largemouth bass fair on spinnerbaits and crankbaits at 3-6 ft. along riprap and creek channels. Report submitted by Lucky Lure Tackle.
Overholser: May 11. Elevation rising, water murky to muddy. White bass and striped bass hybrids fair to good on cut bait, crawdad tails, jigs, shrimp and chicken liver along shorelines and channels. Blue and channel catfish fair to good on cut bait, crawdad tails, jigs, shrimp and chicken liver. Crappie slow. Carp slow. Report submitted by Vince Mesis, game warden stationed in Oklahoma County.
Thunderbird: May 10. Elevation above normal, water 63 and murky. High water levels have caused most boat ramps to be closed or unusable. Check with the park office for open boat ramps. Wes Watkins: May 11. Elevation above normal, water muddy. Channel and blue catfish slow on chicken liver, worms and punch bait along coves. Report submitted by Mike France, game warden stationed in Pottawatomie County.

Bell Cow: May 10. Elevation below normal, water muddy. Crappie good on minnows around docks and boat ramps. Largemouth bass good on minnows, spinnerbaits and small lures along shallows and shorelines. Channel catfish fair on dough bait and stinkbait along shorelines. Birch: May 11. Elevation above normal, water clear. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 5-8 ft. around brush structure and coves. Carl Blackwell: May 10. Elevation below average, water muddy. Crappie excellent on minnows around docks and rocks. Saugeye fair on crankbaits along the dam. Eucha: May 10. Elevation above normal, water 74. Largemouth bass good on jigs and worms along shallows and docks. Crappie good on minnows and jigs around brush structure and docks. Channel catfish fair on cut bait and shad along flats and shallows. Sunfish fair on crickets and worms along shallows and shorelines. Ft. Gibson: May 12. Elevation above normal, water 60 and murky. Blue, channel and flathead catfish good on worms, shad and cut bait on bottom along shorelines and creek channels. Report submitted by Rick Stafford of Wagoner.
Grand: May 10. Elevation normal, water 70 and clear murky in areas near river. Crappie good on minnows, sassy shad and tube jigs around docks and shallows. White bass good on spoons, grubs, crankbaits and rooster tails in the river channel and Elk River. Blue catfish good on shad along shallows. Greenleaf: May 11. Elevation 1 1/2 ft. above normal. Largemouth bass good on buzz baits, spinnerbaits, crankbaits, bill baits, spoons and frogs along moss beds, brush structure and creek channels. Catfish good on cut bait and liver on bottom. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 3-9 ft. around fishing docks and brush structure. Hudson: May 11. Elevation above normal, water 68 and murky to muddy. Largemouth bass good on plastic baits and buzz baits around points and brush structure. White bass good on small lures in the upper end river channel. Channel and blue catfish good on cut bait along the river channels and below the dam. Kaw: May 11. Elevation 5 ft. above normal, water 62 and clear in the lower end and murky in the upper end. Report submitted by Larry Green, game warden stationed in Kay County.
Keystone: May 12. Elevation above normal, water 62. Blue catfish excellent on cut bait along the river channel. Largemouth bass, crappie and white bass good on in-line spinnerbaits around rocks. Report submitted by Karlin Bailey, game warden stationed in Creek County.

 

Oologah: May 10. Elevation rising, water 63 and muddy. The area below is closed for a construction project and will be for several months and entry below the dam is prohibited until the project is complete. Channel catfish good on shrimp and dough bait at 5-8 ft. along creek channels. Largemouth bass fair on spinnerbaits and plastic baits at 3-6 ft. around brush structure. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 3-6 ft. around brush structure. Blue and channel catfish fair on juglines baited with shad and cut bait at 8-16 ft. along flats. Spavinaw: May 10. Elevation above normal, water 75. Largemouth bass good on jigs and worms at 2-4 ft. along shallows, coves and weed beds. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 10-15 ft. around brush structure and docks. Walleye fair on crankbaits and jigs along flats. Tenkiller: May 11. Elevation 5 ft. above normal and rising, water 63 and clear. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass fair on crankbaits, spinnerbaits and soft plastic baits at 2-10 ft. around brush structure, flooded shorelines and coves. Channel, blue and flathead catfish good on cut bait and shad at 2-10 ft. along creek channels, flats and newly flooded shorelines and on flip-flops at 20-40 ft. along flats. Webbers Falls: May 11. Elevation 3 ft. above normal, water murky. Largemouth bass fair on buzz baits, crankbaits and salt crawls along riprap, creek channels and brush structure. Catfish good on sunfish, liver and fresh cut bait on bottom. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 3-9 ft. All other fishing slow. Canton: May 9. Elevation 11 ft. below normal, water 68 and clear. Crappie good on minnows and jigs at 2-8 ft. along riprap and brush structure. Report submitted by Mark Walker, game warden stationed in Blaine County.

 

Ft. Supply: May 11. Elevation normal, water clear. Walleye fair on small lures and minnows in the main lake. Report submitted by Mark Reichenberger, game warden stationed in Woodward County.

 

SOUTHEAST

 

Arbuckle: May 10. Elevation 1 1/3 ft. below normal, water 71 and cloudy. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass fair on jigs, spinnerbaits, crankbaits and flukes from the surface to 15 ft. around brush structure, rocks, weed beds and flats along creeks; inflow of water has greatly stained the lake but spinnerbaits are good in new grass. Crappie fair on jigs, small lures, hair jigs, tube jigs and minnows at 18 ft. around coves, docks, weed beds and marked brush piles. White bass good on lipless baits, topwater lures, small lures and wiggle-tail grubs at 5 ft. along flats, creek channels and coves. Report submitted by Jack Melton.

Blue River: May 11. Elevation above normal, water 65 and murky. Due to large amounts of rainfall, the river level is fluctuating quite a bit. Most fishing is slow but catfish are fair when the river is rising. Channel catfish fair on cut bait, stinkbait and chicken liver at 1-3 ft. along shorelines. Broken Bow: May 9. Elevation rising, water 68. Lake levels are rising due to heavy rainfall. Largemouth, spotted and smallmouth bass fair on Alabama rigs, spinnerbaits and plastic baits at 5-10 ft. along shorelines and weed beds. Flathead, channel and blue catfish good on crawfish, sunfish, worms and live bait at 6-8 ft. along creek channels and shorelines. Eufaula: May 9. Elevation 4 ft. above normal, water murky. Largemouth bass fair on plastic baits flipping the flooded willows. White bass good on small jigs below the dam. Blue catfish good on a variety of baits at the mouths of creeks and rivers running into the lake. Crappie slow. Report submitted by Ed Rodebush, game warden stationed in McIntosh County.

Hugo: May 10. Elevation 8 ft. above normal and rising rapidly, water 64. Blue catfish good on cut bait and worms in the river channel and good on cut bait at 8-10 ft. below the dam. Konawa: May 10. Elevation normal, water 72 and clear. Largemouth bass fair on plastic baits, topwater lures and crankbaits at 4-6 ft. around points, weed beds and shallows. Channel and blue catfish fair on cut bait, worms, shrimp and punch bait at 4-8 ft. around points, riprap and discharge. White bass fair on jigs, slabs, shad and cut bait at 6-10 ft. in the discharge, creek channels and riprap. Report submitted by Tyler Howser, game warden stationed in Seminole County.
Lower Mountain Fork: May 10. Elevation above normal, water 64 and murky. Trout good on midges and PowerBait along creek channels. Report submitted by Mark Hannah, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.

 

Lower Mountain Fork: May 8. Stocked 2,100 lbs., approximately 2,130 rainbow trout on May 7. Report submitted by April Drake, secretary at the Southeast Regional Office.
McGee Creek: May 10. Elevation 11 1/2 ft. above normal and rising, water 67 and murky. Channel catfish good on chicken liver and worms along flats and standing timber. Report submitted by Larry Luman, game warden stationed in Atoka County.
Murray: May 11. Elevation below normal, water 65 and muddy. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass slow on jerk baits, tube jigs and crankbaits at 5-15 ft. around points, standing timber and rocks. Channel catfish slow on cut bait, shad, punch bait and worms at 5-15 ft. along coves, creek channels and rocks. Pine Creek: May 10. Elevation rising, water 67 and muddy. All recreation areas have been closed due to high lake levels. Largemouth good on crankbaits and spinnerbaits along shallows. Robert S. Kerr: May 10. Elevation above normal, water muddy. Crappie fair on minnows at 1-6 ft. along weed beds. Largemouth bass good on spinnerbaits along creek channels and weed beds. Sardis: May 12. Elevation above normal, water 67. Largemouth and spotted bass slow on buzz baits at 10 ft. around brush structure. Crappie slow on minnows at 10 ft. around brush structure. Texoma: May 10. Elevation above normal, water 62 and clear in the south and murky in the north. Largemouth and smallmouth bass good on plastic baits, spinnerbaits and crankbaits at 10-20 ft. along creek channels and coves. Striped and white bass good on lipless baits, sassy shad and slabs at 10-20 ft. in the main lake and river channel. Channel and blue catfish good on live bait, stinkbait and worms at 10-20 ft. in the main lake, creek channels and riprap. Wister: May 10. Elevation rising, water 65. Largemouth and smallmouth bass good on tube jigs, jerk baits and spinnerbaits at 2-5 ft. along weed beds and points. Blue and channel catfish good on chicken liver, cut bait and goldfish at 4-8 ft. below the dam, along coves and creek channels. Ft. Cobb: May 11. Elevation rising, water 65. Channel and blue catfish good on cut bait and dough bait in the creek channels and the main lake. Crappie good on live bait around brush structure.
