Manhattan: Kansas Farm Bureau’s VOTE FBF (Voters Organized To Elect Farm Bureau Friends) has received overwhelming recommendations from counties in the Kansas 4th Congressional District to endorse Ron Estes in the special election April 11.
After earning degrees in civil engineering and business administration, Estes worked in the aerospace, oil and gas, and manufacturing industries, and was twice elected as Sedgwick County Treasurer. Ron was elected Kansas State Treasurer in 2010 and was reelected in 2014 by a wide margin.
“Ron grew up on the family farm near Osage, Kansas and carries a strong farm background and knowledge. His mother Lou, a Farm Bureau member, still resides on that farm,” Rich Felts, Kansas Farm Bureau president said. “With Ron’s background, education, public service and industry experience, our county members were convinced he is the one to lead the 4th Congressional District in Kansas.”
Felts urged all residents in the 4th Congressional District to make time to vote for Estes April 11
