Inman High School Teen helps training dogs for service work

Inman High School Junior, Katie Krehbiel, is helping the Kansas Specialty Dog Service (KSDS), in Washington Kansas, as a puppy raiser. Krehbiel raises puppies for one-and-a-half to two years for basic obedience and socializing. The puppies she raises will eventually become guide dogs for those who are blind or visually impaired, service dogs assist individuals in wheelchairs or with other physical disabilities and facility doge who help in education and rehabilitation settings.
