McPherson High School, Spanish teacher and Middle School tennis coach, Ricardo Sanchez, was nominated to receive the Horizon Award. The Horizon Award is like the teacher of the year but is awarded strictly to first-year educators. Sanchez will compete at the statewide level for the Horizon Award.
