Sterling College remembers former Woman’s Basketball Head Coach Lonnie Kruse

Lonnie Kruse, head coach for the Sterling College Women’s Basketball team from 1981-2014, passed away on Friday, September 23. Lonnie was scheduled to be inducted into the NAIA Hall of Fame at the Women’s Division ll National Championship in Sioux City, Iowa, over March 8-14, 2017. He was the winningest coach in Kansas women’s basketball history with a record of 706-244. The Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016, at the Sterling College Gymnasium,Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016, at the Sterling College Gymnasium,funeral will be 10 A.M.
